Take the opportunity for one final ride on “STL Line 13” - available until December 14!
Projects
03.12.204It feels like just yesterday: On April 28, 2023, “STL Line 13” launched as an innovative pilot project for automated mobility. Reaching speeds of up to 30 km/h, the “STL Line 13” set a new benchmark for automated vehicles in Switzerland. Now, the self-driving minibus is nearing the end of its operational journey.
Objectives of the “STL Line 13” Pilot Project
The pilot project focused on two key objectives: testing the technological feasibility of automated driving in public transport and enhancing connectivity for the first and last mile. The results are clear: automated driving on public roads is fundamentally achievable. The availability of the vehicle was an outstanding 98 percent. The technology proved robust, successfully withstanding diverse traffic and weather conditions.
